The house "Angerl"
In spring 2008 we began carry out the dream of our own house. With a lot of own contribution and with the great assistance of our family and friends, we could welcome our first guests in the two apartments in December of the same year.
Also the name „Angerl “was promptly found, since we built it on a former orchard. With a lot of enjoyment and attention, we arranged our house Angerl and we hope that you feel as comfortable as we do. We would be pleased, if we could welcome you in our house.

In summer, our guests can start exciting mountain bike tours just in front of the house. From an easy promenade to an inspiring mountain hike, the numerous trails in and around Westendorf are leaving nothing to be desired. Motorcyclists are also highly welcome. The house Angerl is an ideal starting point for expanded routes. For motorcycles and bicycles we offer a garage, which can be used free of charge.
If you only wish to have some relaxing days and enjoy the pure nature of the Tyrolean Mountains, the house Angerl is the perfect place to stay. The apartments offer a beautiful view in a calm and sunshiny environment. Both apartments have a balcony, on which you can enjoy the afternoon sun. On the sunbathing area, you could simply relax and unwind or start a barbecue on a mild summer evening. Of course, sun loungers and barbecue equipment are available free of charge.
winter
In wintertime the location of the house “Angerl” is perfect for skiing vacation with the entire family or with friends. The snowable ski run 111 can be attained from our house in less than one minute walk. The new cable car „Choralmbahn “is only 300 m (960 feet) away and leads into the middle of the Westendorfer ski area and/or into the ski world of Wilder Kaiser/Brixental.
Also for a sledge excursion the house Angerl is a good starting point. Directly next to the mountain station „Choralmbahn “a sledge run starts and leads to the Schrandlhof. A free taxi will bring you to the top again, and drop you just in front of the Choralmbahn for another sledge descent.
You could also simply relax at the sunny balcony and enjoy the amazing winter landscape. Whatever is your intention – after a relaxing or an eventfull day in the snow-covered Westendorf, the best place to finalize a great day is the cosy apartment Angerl, having a good meal and playing funny games…
